I never saw all of them together

I never saw them all together, until this week. So I understand how I made a mistake. Massive correction, only two solid black kittens So two, plus three black and white, means only five. ONLY five kittens! When you see the black and white kittens from behind you see only black. I must have mistaken one for being solid black for a day or so. I keep posting about how wrong I am. Angel the mama kitty has started bringing them out to the hallway if she nurses them. She is working on weaning them, and will hide by getting up into the bathroom sink. I did not want to put this post up until I was absolutely sure. The "babies" now come out as a group, morning and evening. They climb on and explore everything. And every time I count there are only five. ONLY FIVE! We are beginning to handle some of them. The black and white ones seem more willing to be petted.

They sound like a sweet litter. I am sure mama cat is ready to be done with the nursing part and onto the training them how to cat part.

They use the litter tray and they know where the food is in the kitchen now.

Well, 5 is better than 6 but still a handful especially as they get older. Now I'll pray that all of them find furever homes.

I hope so. I have been told there is a no-kill shelter that may help me.

What else can you do. I hope they have room for more kittens.

Yes, they are cuties. I have been calling one Yeti. His rear feet are nearly all white so I called "him" bigfoot, but Yeti is more fun. He has a round little white spot on his chin.

That's a typical litter of kittens, the mother usually has about 5-babies.

Her first litter was 4. The vet only saw two heart beats for sure in the ultra sound. She was very neglected at the time she conceived and the vet said it was amazing she was healthy enough to carry the two.
