It's not easy

Hello myloters, today is Monday and am once again excited to be here since morning.
Today I have been finding it difficult to work at home because too much noise coming from my house and from my neighbor's and I find it difficult to work now. I think I will have to find a place somewhere where I can do my work.
Do you also work at home or you work at the office and how do you cope?

I turn on music to help drown out the sound. I use relaxing music which is soothing.
Could you invest in noise cancelling headphones?

@erictsuma Well, that's not strictly true! I do get irritated by my Mum's snoring (she sleeps at all hours of the day and night, and snores like a walrus), but I cope!

I understand what you`re going through. I also have some problem focusing sometimes when our neighbor is really noisy and shouting. I just let them finish and then I start working

Yeah it is frustrating because brother and sister complain when I barely make a noise but they can be as loud as the old Seattle king dome. Sports stadium that would get crazy loud. It really does throw you off and I am not one to complain contrary to popular to belief. Why I come here have to get that stuff out so you do not complain in real life.

Yes, you definitely need a change of scenery. I guess I would talk to my neighbor and ask him to be more quiet. Maybe drowning noise out with a fan can help. It's a tough situation. I like working to music sometimes. It drowns out neighbor's noise and it's much more pleasant to listen too.
