May 23 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today is a completely laid-back day. No exercise other than the miscellaneous we have every day, waking and sleeping. Too cold to go out and walk on the trail. We dipped 20+ degrees in 24 hours. Brrrr. I'm not used to the cold after the warm weather we've had, so yes, it was cold. I even have my heat on today.
So, I'm thankful. This is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it.
I'm thankful for the opportunity and privilege to go to church this morning. It was an awesome service.
I'm thankful for my appetite. My calorie intake is low today. I might have one more meal, but I don't know yet. Both breakfast and lunch were 270 calories. I did have snacks, a banana, and a brownie. Leaving me still under a thousand for today.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Vendetta. Not a lot as I'm working out the scenes. How to unfold them in a manner that makes sense to me and those who will read it when I publish Vendetta.
I'm thankful for getting the notifications finished here and seeing what you're doing today.
That's my day. Watching TV. That's about as active as I've been today. My brain has been more active. Tomorrow I'll be back at the Y. I'll need it to get back on track with exercise in the pool and fitness center.

@just4him Lovely! Well done for all you are thankful for. This may sound silly but I am thankful for the toast I am eating right now. But also, I am really thankful that my headache has gone away. I had it for roughly 2 hours and it's finally gone.

They sure are. Nature should be appreciated too, while we still can. So much land gets wiped out. It's sad.

Hoping the weather warms up soon. I know a lot of people are tired of the cold.
I'm thankful for having a thoughtful husband who brought orange juice home today. I'm thankful for the day in general. I feel so accomplished today.
