Hello everyone. Hope all of your are doing good and best in your health. Due to this pandemic situation children are attending their classes online since last year. There are advantages and disadvantages for the same among school children. They are easily getting devices as handy for their online classes. The concerned part is most of the children are taking advantages and get involved with online games. Some children are using their parents payment method for playing online. Parents are not getting aware about this intially. Once they realize the loss of money from bank, it may be too late. I have come across two incidents recently among friend's circle. Parents got information only after loosing money. One boy used his friend's parents money (with the help of his friend) which made other complications. Regular checking of children's online activities must be done by parents. We can't trust children blindly as they too are getting this freedom first time. What is your opinion on this?

Parents should be more responsible. Staying online for many hours is very bad for children. They already have online classes now, too many hours in front of a computer is bad for their health. Online games are terrible.

Parent's responsibility increases all the ways. They have to be vigilant and keep monitoring children's online activities.

@Sreekala I agree, children must go out and play, not sit in front of a game all the day.

Another problem is that children taking online classes aren't being supervised very well. They tell their parents the teacher isn't very good when the child is actually ignoring the teacher and playing online games instead of doing his classwork. Since the teacher isn't physically there, they can't do anything when the child ignores them.

I agree with you. Since the camera is off teachers can't help either. Here also parents must act wisely. They have to supervise their children.

@DaddyEvil Yes I do agree. Now lock down is going on so I am at home and can watch. Otherwise I too will be in office.

Kids need parental guidance. Young minds are badly influenced by technology. Many makes technology, ugly so frustrating.

True, children must be supervised by parents. When both parents are working then comes the problem.

@cacay1 If the children are attending offline classes then they are off to school early morning and parents are free after that. In case of online class children's days are disorganized .

Rightly said. They should be also made to understand the value of money and the gadgets given to them for studies. Many a times, children are not made aware of it

Yes, they also even don't know about the loss of huge money. Once they are caught they too become guilty about their mistake. What is the use of it then?

@Rashnag The only solution is to monitor them, either parents or by any house hold member.

Playing game for sometime is not bad but getting addicting is the dangerous part. If they given the payment information once, then it is easy for loosing money without their knowledge.

This surely is a concern but wonder if there are no locking devices for such games.

I think there may not be any separate locking system for games. Honestly children have more knowledge about these than parents. Here comes the problem.

The children need to be limited in playing them.

Children are smart enough. They pretend to study or doing any class works but after sometime they cleverly started to play games.

Yes, it is not easy to watch them. Educating them about the dangerous side may be a solution but don't know about the result.
