It’s almost the long weekend

I hope everyone is having a good day. It was so muggy last night it was a bad sleeping night. We had rain overnight but today it is glorious. Light wind, dry air and sunshine. Al had PT at 9 this morning, she worked him hard. Yesterday we had our first class back in the warm pool. The workout felt so good!! Al is out sitting on Kasey’s deck while I work with Jack. I started changing out the clothes this morning, packing up the winter and putting out the summer. A massive job, we have way too many clothes!! I asked Chris to come over tomorrow to stay with Al and then he can do some jobs for me, I have a couple of boxes to go in the attic. I need some bush trimming as well. Work is never done when you own a home. We had lunch out yesterday with Irene, it was very nice. Had a yummy strawberry shortcake for dessert. That’s about it from my world. Hope everyone is doing well.

Sounds like a lot of work. I also cleaned my clothes today, but luckily I don't have a lot of clothes. I should have ironed, but I knew I would put it off. That dessert looks very tasty.

I'll be working the long weekend. I agreed to work in Monday because I get time and a half plus holiday pay. I hope I don't regret agreeing to work that day.

@BelleStarr Even if I didn't work I'd get holiday pay. I'm hoping I don't wish I had the extra day off. But if it's slow I could potentially leave early too.

I can understand how much work one has to do when the season changes. My wife packs clothes and keep them separately packed. I had lots of work at office as customers schedules have increased and have to build up some buffer stocks.

I switched out my winter and summer clothing a few weeks ago when we had a hot spell. It does spell for alot of washing and then ironing, but once it is done it is over for 6 months. Your dessert looks delicious.

We slept with the a/c on. I can’t sleep if it’s over 65 degrees in the house. Sounds like things are going well. Good! I like good news!

That dessert looks wonderful..As hot as it has been here the past few days gonna be cool this weekend..might not get above 60 on Sunday...you might want to leave a winter outfit out for unexpectedly cool temps.

lol I have a ton of hoodies that will be perfect, I am leaving out a couple of cotton long sleeve shirts in case I need them when I travel north.
