I don't recall how long it's been, but a good week or more. We finally are getting some rain. It got unbarably hot today so I'm thankful for the thunderstorm we're getting. It appears to have wound down by the time I got around to typing this, but I'm still happy we got something.

Lucky, lucky you! We've had some summery days, but now we're doing to cool/warm. But we are so very dry here - we need some good rain! Hope it cooled down over there!

So glad you had rain after so long. We had rain last weekend, too. It was needed badly, but the cold came with it.

It's to warm for rains to drop the temp to much, but it did knock it down a few degrees. The sunshowers made today a tad bit more managable.

Same feeling here. For the past days, it was terribly hot. Yesterday and tonight is another story. It is raining and it helped cool down the temperature.

We finally got some rain yesterday afternoon and night and more today. It was good as the grass was already beginning to turn brown, which doesn't normally happen until July/August. Glad you received some rain too.

While not as hot as Florida, we did hit 80 this week, so light rain and a cooler temperature has been some enjoyable relief. Not really used to it being so hot at this time of the year

We got rain too and once it began it's rained some each week. We heard it would be a dry summer but maybe that changed now with the rain. Our maybe were still not up to it averages, I don't know.
