Me and my siblings are contacted today by our local officials that they will give a slot for us today to register for National ID. It's 1 pm rest time and we get up and dress up for we all want to have our own national ID. We wait quite long for our turn. They get our biometrics all fingers finger print and eyes scan. Do you have your national ID? Where can we use it?

Yes, of course we have our citizen ID and local resident ID too, it is mandatory to have one from many, many years.

Really? It has been planned to have many years ago but it's only now that it is implemented

@averygirl72 The biometric ID is recent, it was introduced more or less 10 years ago, before we had a paper ID, but with our data written on it.

We can have an ID with our picture on it for either driving license or a state ID... but it's not required.

@averygirl72 Yes, @Shavkat told me a few days ago. My daughter doesn't drive, so doesn't have a driver's license. She doesn't have any photo ID and isn't required to have one.
