Eggplant Salad with Wheat Bread In Tuesday Dinner

In Eggplant Salad we add lots of onions, tomatoes, Green chillies and different Indian spices and in the end Dry fenugreek leaves.
Eggplant Salad is more commonly known in India as Bhartha and a very popular dish and eating curd with it along with Indian wheat bread gives added pleasure so this will be my dinner minus curd.

I would try an Eggplant salad. Last night I had grilled burgers and some potato salad, and a grilled peach.

I understand that what we mean by salad is - a dish consisting of cut pieces of vegetables or fruits, either raw or cooked. It is not prepared generally as a dish and is generally served on a room temperature.
I understand that by 'egg plant salad' means that you prepared a dish (called 'Bhartha') of Brinjals by roasting them on fire and then cooking it with onion, tomatoes and other ingredients and condiments.
I like this dish when served hot with Parantha.

Mom has a different way to prepare it. Earlier she used to roast it first but now I think she cuts the Eggplant in small pieces and cook for some time and then mash it and after add onions, tomatoes and chillies and other spices and tastes wonderful and actually this is a good method because the roasted one is quite a messy way
