As some of you may know, my friend and I started growing some veggies in a rented allotment. I have been closely monitoring its slow progress until I went on a 3 week holiday. Today I visited it after a long time and voila. It looks like a proper garden. With some plants ready to harvest. I am so elated!

I know how a gardener feels when there is success as I am a gardener myself. Well done.

It is indeed a great sense of accomplishment. I can't wait to harvest but I'm waiting for my friend's day off so we can do it together. What sort of crops do you plant?

@flapiz I have a garden with plenty of fruit trees, flower bushes, and a lawn on the terrace. I have some herbs too.

@allknowing I would love a flower garden as I adore flowers. Fruit trees and herbs are a dream of mine. If I ever get to own a house I want it to be a sustainable one and for it to have fruit trees, herbs, and veggies around.

Looking good and well cared for! You need to get someone to take the plot next to you, though, or the weeds will take over!

Yeah we really are worrying about that plot. We did try to clean the weeds that crossed our plot. We are wondering if it's vacant cause we want a larger plot. But cleaning it would be a lot of work.

It's good you don't have problems with critters snacking on your plants.

Actually there are critters snacking on our plants as we don't spray with pesticide. We are doing organic farming hahaha. But they didn't eat all of them at least. Maybe the critters are well distributed throughout the farm.

They are all organic and pesticide free. I think they're healthy because of all the free horse poo that's provided by the farm owner.
