Stormy weather yesteray

There I was washing the dishes yesterday when the weather turned bad. It became dark and it started to thunder. It was so loud that it sounded like bombs exploding. There was lightening too. I could see it near me through the window. It was pretty scary.
And then it started to downpour. The raindrops were hitting hard against the windows and the skylights. At one point it sounded like hail, though hubby tells me there was no hail yesterday. And the wind picked up too. I was glad to be indoors. Good thing I didn't venture out yesterday or I could've ended up getting caught in the storm.

Wow! The storm did cool us down slightly. I can't stand the heat.

We've been having scattered T-storms and will have them for the next couple of days. I'm glad you were home!

Me too. Originally, I wanted to venture out to the store. That was before it began to storm of course.
