Pool Decoration at Neighbor's

Went over again to water my neighbor's special memorial flowers he has for his wife.
They are under his covered deck. Even with the rain we have gotten, they still need water.
Noticed this pretty pool decoration today. It was his wife's, of course. I love the color and the detail.
He returns home Saturday. I can't wait to hear all about his travels. His son flew in from New York to join them. Happy he was able to go.

Ooh, that is a pretty decoration!
And I understand having all the things around. My aunt has a room in her home she calls her “Joe shrine” in honor/memory of her late husband (the one I wrote about who’d been on the USS North Carolina when it was torpedoed during WW II).

@CarolDM — the “shrine” is a joke, it’s just the room where his Navy things are. And you’re right, we do what we can.

@FourWalls Seriously, some family actually said I had a shrine of Dustin and would not visit shortly after losing him. I did not care.

That is a really sharp decoration.
We had a pair of tall birds similar to that out near our pond when we lived at our former home.
The guy that came and took our 68 koi fish admired it and my hubby graciously gifted them to him. They will forever stand guard over our fish.
I know that you will be happy when he returns home again.
