Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich Dinner

Another light meal on this H&H (hot and humid) day. Only in the 80s, but the humidity makes it feel a lot warmer and muggy.
My appetite really leaves me on days like this. Decided on a quick banana and peanut butter grilled sandwich.
And yes you can see a little honey in the right corner, I dip the sandwich in a small amount sometimes.
Light dinners seem to go well with this time of the year. A favorite sandwich as well. Enjoy your evening everyone.

I understand all about the heat. I deal with it too. Hit 90 today and felt like 95 or hotter. My husband said he saw 100 when he turned on the van to drive home. Stay cool and enjoy your dinner.

I never really liked PB and banana. I prefer PB and pickle. Sorry it's so warm there. It's a cool 64° here in the PNW.

I eat peanut butter and banana sandwiches all the time! I love making them to take to work in my lunch.

Oh wow that actually sounds really good. Maybe I should suggest this to my mom when it gets really bad, like it is going to be next week, it is going to be hot, like hot hot haha

We're going to start calling you Elvis. When I was still working; and my husband had retired on disability, he would make a PB&J sandwich for me every day; and I would have a banana as well. It would be waiting for me when I came home. I've never had a PB&J with the banana inside though.

Wow ! That is an interesting term for Hot and Humid - H & H (well I just hope that nobody confuses it with H &M!!).
The sandwich looks a fine one.
We had a heavy lunch and would have something light for the dinner.

Yes whatever suits one! And we had slices of Pizza today (partially made at home using a Pizza base kind of thing, cheese, capsicum etc).

@CarolDM this and bologna sandwiches were my favorites when I was a kid. We are set to really heat up next week--but it is all dry heat. I bought a couple of swamp coolers for the house this year. I am hoping they help with the heat--

Yes, when it's really hot and humid it can lessen one's appetite. Maybe not enough room in there with all the liquids being consumed throughout the day to stay hydrated?
Any way, that sandwich looks like a keeper! That was Elvis's favorite too
