That Yard Was A Jungle!!

Here's a picture of the yard I've been working hard on for 7 weeks. That yard was a jungle! We can actually see the ground ! Bamboo can be your worst nightmare in a yard. The last idiots said he could cut it down for a cheap price. But they didn't take it away! So the crap turned into hard wood and grew back up, and now I have double layers to cut and haul! Plus the stuff grows back!! The good news is , it's coming along. It would be done if my friends didn't conk out after just one hour of work! But I must say, I'm once again proud of our yard! And the work we've done!

Bamboo has deep roots, and is liked in earthquake areas, in Japan, for it holds ground together. Wish you lots of help with clearing up your property.

That happened to me also. Asked a a couple of peon to remove the bamboo in my yard. They left all the roots. Sigh.

Yes, they grow back very quickly. That is the challenge. How to stop it from growing back! How did you stop it from growing back

@db20747 Not as successful yet. I dig down the root when the soil is wet. One root at a time.

If there's bamboo, careful of snakes too.

That was a big concern! A lot of people did not want to go in the backyard! We're very paranoid!

I didn't know that about bamboo but it sounds like you've had a hard time getting rid of it. The yard certainly does look like it's coming along.
