Have been on the phone for the last hour with an old friend. She lost a daughter to suicide about the same time I lost Dustin.
She stays busy as a realtor, so we do not talk often. We caught up on what has been going on. She had a few questions for me.
And she told me I should be an online grief counselor. I said no thanks, I will help others when I can. But I would not want to do it every day.
Was good to hear from her. Now back to a hot sunshine day.

You must have really helped her, for her to say that. I don't think I could do it. But for her. Good Job.

@CarolDM the fact that you share that pain and reach out to others with that pain is exactly what the world needs a lot more of!

It ia a wonder to be there for your friends. But I would not be able to do it for people I donĀ“t know.

I think you both bless each other because of such a sad bond you share.

Being a grief counselor would be too much stress and strife for you.

That's good you both have each other to talk to every now and then.
