A couple of days now, my friends on facebook are being cartoonized. Entire families have become cartoons!
Viber beeped last night and I found my image has not been spared. My daughter joined the bandwagon and turned my image comic-like.
Oh well, will turn it into my profile pic.

Looks great! Not a fan of these apps though as they capture your photos and these can be used for facial recognition apps.

Yup. My elder daughter scolded her sister and ordered her to discontinue the app.

@MarieCoyle That's what my elder daughter said also when she reprimanded her sister for using the app. For all we know, it's a Chinese spy app collecting our images for facial recognition.
Wise contention up there.

@eileenleyva I won't be using it. I am one of those people who look things up. From what I read, this and some other apps are not smart to use. Just like everyone answers every darn question app on FB like, what was your first car, your mother's maiden name, your siblings name, what school did you attend, and on and on we go..umm, no.

Yup, with a child-like wonder I live the life. Always been a comics fan and I wish I somehow look like a cross of Betty and Veronica.

Looks like the young me. That is why it has gone viral. People are in denial of their old faces. Their cartoon image is an escape, a denial of reality.

Yeah, it's all over social media. Somehow as an artist it makes me sad people prefer this free version of a cartoon avatar but then again, who doesn't love free stuff? 
When I was hired to do caricatures at an event, I didn't think people would come up to me to make free caricatures of themselves. Lo and behold, once the first person got their caricature made they lined up to me and boy I have never felt so overwhelmed just by doing caricatures of lots of people. I mean, even up to the closing time people had to sadly be turned away. 
Ah that's one of my most unforgettable experience.

I understand your sentiment. I actually prefer real artists drawing my picture than the free apps.
The image was sketched by an artist sharing his talent as a way of garnering donations for the victims of the typhoon. The sketch is more like me.

Yup, gone are the laugh lines and the wisdom strands.
People like to believe they could stay young forever. This app provided that wish.
Indulged also on a childish whim. Silly

Am veering away from AI. Reason why I use only the cell phone when I need to text my daughter. No other use that gadget is. Laptop camera is blocked.
If only I could block the sound also.
