I have two butterfly bushes in Dustin's garden. One white and one purple. They are both in bloom. However, the birdhouse with the babies are in the middle of the garden as well.
Until the babies fledge, I cannot get to the blooms to deadhead and take photos. But it can wait. The babies come first. They will fly away in a few days. And will be greatly missed.
Managed to snap one of the blooms of the Black Knight butterfly bush. They are a dark purple. And the bush is covered in blooms.
Soon the butterflies will arrive. An exciting time in the garden.

I would enjoy the babies while they're still around. The bush looks pretty and you can always fix it after the babies are gone.

Such flowers and blooms make our day.
The weathermen had predicted early monsoons here but that is not the case now.
So the official rainy season starts sometime around 28rh June.
Have a great time ahead.

@CarolDM Because of the spraying each summer, we don't see very many butterflies any more.

I miss not having the big butterfly bush by our kitchen window.

@CarolDM Hubs would have to plant it; and that could take years. :-(

It's beautiful. I love watching butterflies. I once visited a butterfly garden here in our place. It's located in the summer resort in our province.

@Nakitakona And after the baby birds leave the house. They are in the garden now and should be leaving tomorrow. I cannot disturb them.

@CarolDM I know you'll capture them when more flowers are in bloom.

What a beautiful plant. How exciting about the butterflies coming. I was outside today taking my dog out and a huge yellow butterfly flew right past me. It made me very happy.
