My Friend's Husband is Still in a Coma

The other day I asked for prayers for my friend's husband who had an abdominal aortic aneurism burst on Thursday. He had surgery Thursday night to stop the bleeding, and then had to have another surgery Friday morning.
Since then, they have had to put him on a dialysis machine because his kidneys aren't working correctly, and then Saturday night, his heart went into an abnormal rhythm and they had to use the paddles to shock him. He was in a medically induced coma, and they are still waiting for him to wake up from it, but he hasn't yet. They say it could take some time. They are still worried about his heart because it's not in its normal rhythm again, and there is fluid around his heart.
My friend is having such a hard time with all of this. I am doing what I can to support her, but she has said the only thing that can help Vic now is prayers.
Even their 2 dogs are having reactions to Vic being gone because they are very attached to him.
So if you pray, please keep Vic and his wife in your prayers.

@marguicha Thanks. I have let hus wife know that people from all over the world are praying for him. They are catholic with a very strong faith and that made her feel better.

@kareng Thank you. The prayers help her, and him I am sure as well. He is still on dialysis because his body is having trouble getting rid of the fluid, and his heart rhythm is still off. But the good news is he was able to respond to the doctor's commands this morning. Yay!

@Scrapper88 Thank you so much. His wife is praying for that as well. She is having a very tough time with this because she relies on him very much, even emotionally. And the dogs are really having a hard time. So sad.

@snowy22315 Well, today's news is better in that he is at least able to respond to the doctor's prompts today. But even if he comes out of this okay, I am concerned that he may continue to have kidney issues. As I have been telling his wife, we have to just take 1 day at a time.

@BelleStarr Oh, thank you so much. I wish I could figure out how many people are praying for him. I am sure there are hundreds by now as I have spread the word on my Facebook page and a prayer chain I belong to as well.
How is your husband doing?

@Shiva49 I know they are. They are actually helping his wife as well. I am going to make a list of all the countries on here where people have told me they are praying for him so I can tell her. I am so glad I found this group before this happened so Vic and Meg can get prayers from all over the world!
