This one book was not on my original plan. However after some initial - oh not so interesting book.... thoughts, I simply chugged along. Yesterday I finally completed it. I am talking about a hard cover Unabridged and original text "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". It being a classic and written way back in the late 19th century, the language is different. Yet once one has gone through initial few pages, the story is exciting. The image is from the last page of the book, captured through my phone.

Are you going to read The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn? It's a sort of sequel to Tom Sawyer.

That's one book I read a long time back and enjoyed it. I guess I still have a copy of it in my book collection. Good to just have a book out of our plan and find it interesting

@arunima25 Yes some books are enjoyable read. With classics, there could be stages when one can get a bit bored as their style as so different from contemporary but after that they are good. Yet I know many people around me, who might not be that interested in such books.

@id_peace Often if we have read a book long ago, we forget it's storyline. May be you can get it and read again!
