Rojak Buah

Rojak buah or fruit rojak is some sort of fruit salad mixed with spicy palm sugar dressing, providing the spicy, salty and sweet taste to the fruit. There are multiple version of rojak, but fruit rojak is more typical here. I actually don't have the fruits but I have the dressing. We have mango tree but no mango so that would be out of the list. I'll go to the veggie stall later to see whether I could buy anything there. At least it sells cucumber and pineapples. Image from Reddit

@prinzcy I love trying different ethnic dishes. I'll have to search some cities not far and see if there are restaurants with this.

It's more famous here. Basically we don't call it salad. But the method is pretty much like salad and easier to explain when using the word.

fruit salad is so refreshing but your spicy palm dressing sounds interesting. I've never had a fruit salad with a dressing like that. It looks good in the picture.

The color is from the soy sauce and palm sugar. It's not known as salad but the process is pretty similar. So it's easier to mention it as salad as salad is more familiar in this forum.

It's mixed fruit. The most usual would be cucumber, mango and sweet turnip.
