It's a heatwave here

Temps in the 90s F today but feels like in the low 100s F.
Same thing for tomorrow.
I am staying at home with the central AC on.
Pretty good in the living room, though on the third floor it is hell.
It is on days like these that I wish I was somewhere surrounded by cold and snow.
At the very least, somewhere where the humidity is low and temps are in the 60s F or lower.
I wonder what part of the world has winter now?

@lovebuglena It depends the region where you go, but the winters are pretty cold and I know that it snows in South Africa.

You are not the only one who complains about 60s.
My in-laws came over in May and it was upper 60s in the house and they wanted me to turn up the heat.

That's too funny! I assume they live in a warm area?

Our highest temp was today, it reached 83 degrees in this part of Michigan. Winters here are frigid!

I'd rather be in frigid weather than in extreme heat.

@lovebuglena And I feel the same way. That's why I have lived in Michigan, for 69 years:)

I believe Chile has winter now. One of our members lives there. Have you ever thought about sleeping in the living room when it gets too hot? Someone could sleep on the couch; and you could put an air mattress on the floor or something like that.

@LindaOHio I don't really wanna suffer and sweat. I wake up in the morning feeling out of it, even with the AC on and a fan blowing.

I told hubby about it and he said the couch is not meant for sleeping.
It is a very comfy couch.

@lovebuglena That's better. So far no heatwave mishap ever reported?

I love winter and despise summer.
It is moderate here at the moment.
I pray you get some relief Lena.

Moderate is good. Still very hot here. Should supposedly cool off in a few days.

That is best, however, the loudness of the AC is getting to me.
