Good News Friday

I’m behind on my notifications, mostly due to being worried half to death.
Hubs needed an EKG, echocardiogram and Holtor monitor to wear at home for 24 hours after his physical. We received word from his doctor that his heart is fine, but he needs to cut back on salt and monitor his blood pressure.
I have been so worried, because at times he has an extra heartbeat which can wear out his heart. I would die if anything happened to him. I love him more than life itself.
Today he had a colonoscopy. All went well. Thursday, the doctor will let him know if he will need any more in the future.
So, it’s been a good news Friday, and we are celebrating good health date night with extra happiness.

Try not to worry, easy for me to say:( When it was Jay last month, I was a basket-case in the ICU
Our husbands are the bright spot in our life, the one we definitely love with all our heart!
I see your hand waving, yup that's Dianne way back behind the scene! Date night? Yup, us too!

@DianneN I couldn't find a better husband, if I searched for the rest of my life! He adores me, even though I'm as flawed as they come. True love is permanent, it never changes
Do we get upset with each other? Of course, that's considered normal!

@DianneN of course, it's worrisome. Prayer will work especially if it's a prayer of faith.

Glad to know things are good with hubs. Friend has had to wear that monitor too. His heart isn't in bad shape..but it bears watching.

Salt intake needs to be tracked but normally that "tracking" could be difficult. Perhaps you also need to cut down on some Desserts or market bought "sweet" things as they have added salt which we can sometimes ignore.
But I think as both of you are quite physically active, that is achievable and no big worries here.
May be you just need to cut on Restaurant food for some time.

@DianneN
At times when we are worried or bored, we tend to binge.
Self discipline is not so easy.

@DianneN Thanks!
P. S. Hubs wants to give the Keys trip a shot. We can always turn around if the driving is too much for us or drive around in the state we end up in.

glad to hear Hubs is ok. i got that nasty cut back on salt warning two years ago. We switched to the Himalayan Pink salt, less impact!

@DocAndersen I agree. Yes to the water, too. He has been drinking more, but could use a good three plus more glasses a day.

@DianneN i wouldn't blame yourself - salt is part of the cooking process. The other option for Hubs would be drink a lot more water. That will leach the sodium out quickly!

I love the photo and the "bomb". That was a lot of medical to get done all at once. Of course it made you concerned. I am glad the news is good.
