"Leche" reminds me of "dulce de leche", something I sometimes eat. I guess the flan tastes alike.
Well, leche just means milk in Spanish.

@S4mmyboy I got to know about "dulche de leche" years ago thanks to a classmate from Argentina. It reminded me of toffee. The name "Philippines" comes from the King of Spain so the Spanish influence is strong there. Funny how I may sometimes understand few of the words the Pinoy say because I can speak a little of Spanish, then it's also the language closest to Italian.

@sabtraversa yes you are right. I always wanted to learn Spanish and few more other international languages, never succeeded.

Sounds a bit like a creme brulee, which I love, so I am sure I will like this too. Desserts are naughty but nice, so I am sure you make fortune selling them.
