Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 71 degrees F and cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. Elsa roared her way through here overnight and is now headed out to sea I think. I was woken up by the screeching of my iPhone and Apple Watch at something like 3 or 4 am. There was a tornado warning telling everyone to get into their basements or to an interior room on the lowest level of the house. Um I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor. Sooooo I just rolled over and went back to sleep. Woke up at 8 to discover the rain had stopped and the building was still standing. I have a hot lunch date with a friend today at 12:30. We are going to the waterfront restaurant near her house. I am hoping that the sun comes out by then so we can sit outside and catch some rays while we chat. That is the big excitement for the day: sushi and sunshine. (and a mojito or two) That is pretty much all that is on the agenda today. What is everyone else up to today?

We've been getting weather alerts about thunderstorms today but right now the sun is shining, Crazy weather. I'm happy to hear that you're still here after getting a tornado warning. I don't remember tornadoes being so prevalent here until lately. Hope you get the sunshine you wish for as you enjoy your lunch date.

I'm glad Elsa decided to move on and that you are safe and sound. Hope you enjoyed your lunch. Our little housekeeper came yesterday. She made a little dent in my list; but she has a lot to go.
