Would you pay $200,000 to go to space?

and to be in "space" and weightless for just a couple of minutes? Today's Virgin Galactic test flight lasted 1 hour and 5 minutes from start to finish. I'd have to take a hard pass on that. I don't even like flying on a regular $500 flight that takes me somewhere that I LOVE for a week. Amazon founder Jeff Bezos will be on his own company's flight in like 2 weeks. Someone paid TWENTY EIGHT MILLION DOLLARS to join him. Some people just have more money than sense. What about you? Do you want to go to space?

No, I don't. Not even if someone paid for the ticket.

I think it would be a neat experience, but the short answer is no. I would not fork out that kind of money for the opportunity. I am with you on this one. For $200,000 I could do quite a lot more. Go on multiple vacations and have the time of my life. Buy a beautiful RV with all the creature comforts, mobility, and freedom I want. I am spending about $5000 to go to Florida in the next month and I will have way more fun than a couple of minutes in outer space.

@NJChicaa I hope we do too, and really hoping we don't run into any tropical storms or worse, a hurricane. Hope you get back to Cozumel soon.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'm happy being grounded on Earth.

I wouldn't go to space. I think it's a crazy idea.

I don’t think I could do it. I would be scared of even traveling up there lol.

I would love to go to space and have insane experiences; however, considering the amount that I have to pay, hell no. I would certainly go broke for the rest of my life. lol

$200,000 would be reasonable for a week or so in an orbiting hotel...I have a lot of "experiments" I want to conduct in low gravity. But not for 40 or so seconds of weightlessness.

@NJChicaa I have enough problems keeping my feet on the ground and I would have to take my cat and if there would be more people in the spacecraft she would find herself a nice place to hide if she could.

I couldn't raise that kind of money right now, but if I had a couple of million in the bank I'd go for it. All my life I've wanted to go into space. It may only be a few minutes, but it'd be worth it.

Honestly, no I wouldn't. I don't like heights and the idea of being in space is not an idea very appealing to me.

No way could I go on one of those flights its hard enough to get on a normal flight. Besides if I had that kind of money I would spend it on a house with a garden. I love the earth very much.

I'll wait at the end of the line as I'm not sure if there is any real benefit by going into space.
