What a relief that was

I do not feel up to the mark with symptoms that are not so pleasant. I called up my doctor yesterday and explained to him what I was going through. He recommended that I get an ECG done . We have a hospital close by and it was 'Whats;Apped' to him. What a relief to know my heart is in good condition. The blood report showed that I am low in sugar and that caused all those symptoms. I have to eat stuff that has glucose in it. Hope to be normal in a few days' time.

I hope you get well soon. Meanwhile, you can eat a lot of delicious food that we normally have to eat only once in a while.

You are right but I must first know what caused my levels to go down.

Oh, that is good that your heart is good but having low blood sugar can be dangerous too especially when it goes too low. There is no exact medicine to have that gets to normal except by consuming food to elevate it but you also have to watch that you do not go higher than normal else you will get the opposite. It is tricky since both conditions have similar symptoms. Only a blood test can see if you are low or high or normal. My father is diabetic and his blood sugars can go either way any time of the day. That is why when he feels dizzy or not feeling well he has to check his blood sugar if it is high or low to know what he needs to take meds or just eat to manage his blood sugar.

I am not a diabetic and yes one needs to pay attention to symptoms. I need to make some changes in my diet and that is what my doctor has recommended.

@allknowing Good that you are not yet diabetic as when you are it is really hard to manage your glucose levels since it can go high or low any time of the day.

I do not know. Twice a day is too much for normal people.

It is important to keep your blood sugar balanced. I am glad it was not a heart problem.

You'll have to keep up on eating enough carbs, to avoid future crashes. It's not something that "goes away". It's something that has the potenial to happen again. I should know, because I suffer from Hypoglycemia. My blood sugar typically runs on the higher end (because of the carbs I eat) but most hypoglycemics do. I've had a few low episodes and they aren't fun.
