Have You Ever Worked On A Part Time Job?

I see people that work on part time job and in the rest of the time study or take care of family and home and there are others who work on a full time job and also work part time too means they work for more than 12 hours a day. I have never worked on a part time job but won't mind if I get a suitable job. Have you ever worked on a part time job?

When I worked I worked 44 hours a week. I also did the flea market in my spare time for extra money. I had a licensed emergency foster home. I was busy every week raising six children.

It was very much experimental and fun. The best part is that the shop was profitable from the first month due to some measures that I had implemented.

I have shifted between full time and part time in the same job in last few years. It was dependent on my health conditions and also on my other personal commitments.

@Butterfingers Yes, teaching. Few years back, I was a part time special educator and counselor to two schools and I ran my own centre at home in evening for remedial classes and therapy in the evening. I was working full time. But then I got a tumor in my uterus and cut down on my working time. Also my health did not allow me to drive long to those schools in the morning traffic.

The majority of my work has been part time. I only worked a full time job a few times. I find them pretty challenging to be honest.

I had a part time job in the past. My main job was homecare, but I also worked part time at a hospital.I liked the hospital job, but it wouldn't have been enough to pay my bills, so I chose to keep both jobs.

All I had was an internship, which was some sort of part-time. I'd prefer it over full-time because I aim to work for living, not to live for working. Then there are two types of part-time, you either work less hours every day or you work the same hours of a full-time but on fewer days. Unfortunately it's hard to live on your own with only a part-time income.

@Butterfingers Indeed, it doesn't make much sense to have a lot of money but not have the time to enjoy it. Perhaps it's better to live a simpler life but work less.

Yes it should be this way that we need to work to live. And we need a lot of money to not work

Only at the university once I raised my family and returned to teaching. Teaching was like a part time job. Days off, vacations, and entire summers off.

During the later years of my working life, I was working part-time though I did some work from home later when needed. I worked extended hours in the morning 8 am-1 pm. I took a salary cut but I enjoyed more time with family.
