Another Friday...another wet morning in a row.

Good morning Friday from this side of the planet.. It's 7:10 AM as I write this post.
It started raining last Friday and now it's a week that we have been waking up to wet mornings. The city was on yellow alert for a week. We had light showers and rain all the week. But from yesterday, the rain has picked up and it's pouring. Now it's orange alert here indicating more severity of the situation. It is predicted that rain is here to stay for few more days and that's not something we welcome. We need a sunny day badly
I have put a load in washing machine. The last load took three days to dry and now I put the next one after three days. Can't delay it more.
Power fluctuations and internet connection issues are annoying in such weather. Luckily, it is stable from yesterday despite the heavy rain and wind. I could spend a good time online yesterday and I hope to do same today. Keeping fingers crossed.
A lot has piled up for ironing. Our iron does not work on power back up..I hope power is stable and I can finish some of it today.
Today work time is from 9-11 without a break. I need to do my yoga and get ready. So see you later.

Today rain stopped for few hours but then again it was back in late afternoon. It's still drizzling outside. Glad that despite all rain and strong wind, it was a good day with power and Internet

@arunima25 My drier dries 100%, I decide if I want fully dried or still a little humid if I need to iron the clothing.

@LadyDuck Even our fully dry cycle does it only upto 85-90 percent dry. Dryers are not so common here as we get enough sun throughout except for days when we have continuous rain like this.

The Mandala looks very nice! I hope your client likes it as well as I do.
I don't like it when it rains for days and days, either. But the ground will be happy because of that much rain.

Why does Bangalore in a water crisis? (In the part of the US where I live, water is everywhere. There are lakes, rivers and streams flowing all the time.)

@DaddyEvil Here the ground is not so porous and so despite enough rain, the water table is always low. It was a city full of beautiful lakes. But with unplanned urbanization, many are covered and structures are built on top and others are polluted.
This is my last order to complete and then I would take a break from Mandala art for a while. Will do some other art form.

I sent the picture to her and she was happy. I have to do one more for her. I have started it. She can come next week and pick it up.
The irony is that Bangalore has worst water crisis despite the rainfall it gets. We had some sun today for a short time in the noon and then heavy rain was back in the afternoon. It's still drizzling. It's almost midnight. Enjoying the Friday night.

Everything is getting back to normal or has got back to normal with masks on. At least people are strict about the mask rule. I guess gym and movie theaters are yet to open in full capacity.

We were excited to see some sun in noon time for couple of hours. Then the rain was back in the late afternoon and it's still drizzling outside. It's 11:30 PM here and I am enjoying my Friday night.Have a good weekend

I draw the design with light pencil and then fill the color using gel pen or marker. It's therapeutic and I enjoy doing it.
