It's always feels good to feed birds. I sont do that but I love people doing that. These days when it's too hot I have kept a pot on the terrace for the birds to drink. But the problem is they sit on the AC and keep straw and other things on it to make their nest. And the problem become severe when the lay eggs in the nest as we cannot destroy their nest. I always like to help them out but what to do when they get us troubles. Do you face such issues? What do you do to resolve such issues? Photo is mine

I cried when a large bird destroyed a nest that was built by a couple of birds who were smaller in size.

@allknowing "I cried when a large bird destroyed a nest that was built by a couple of birds who were smaller in size." That must have been painful for the birds too. Imagine if someone destroy our home.

As long as their nest does not ruin your AC I think you should let it be.

Yes their nest sticks go inside the compressor which jams it @allknowing.

If they didn't destroy the AC, then let them be. Most birds here would build their nest on higher trees, none near the house. There are a lot of predators, including my cats.

That's because they know you have cats there at your home so they never will build their nest there. They won't risk their eggs.

Pigeon are not very clean birds, Mom used to feed them and they made a nest on a basket on her balcony.

Hmmm.... Focus on the birds being fed not on the tires. Photo is bit distorted.

I like to feed cats and I find happiness in it. Cats are so adorable and cute. Just to watch them drinking the milk and eating fish is a joy in itself.

We feed the mourning doves here . . . the squirrels and pigeons (about 5 regulars) also come. Although we have had a few nests in our yard, it's rare . . . so we mostly don't have that kind of problem. They just eat and run .

The birds I know feed themselves. I just provide water.

I don't feed the birds in the summer. They find enough insects in my yard.

Birds are very persistent and sometimes difficult to drive away.

It's true what you said. Nothing much can be done about it
