July 16 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I want to shake my head and scream. Yes, I do. When it comes to my writing, I'm a perfectionist. Normally, it takes me several years to finish a novel. The books I published were done many years ago and took a long time to work on because I wanted to get them right and there is a thing called writer's block that happens. When writer's block occurs, I work on another book. I haven't done too much of that with Vendetta. There were times when writer's block hit and I did work on something else for a short time before I came back to Vendetta. To have this one finished in just over a year is darn good. But is it finished? I have a timeline issue again. I'll get it figured out. I always do.
So, okay, what am I thankful for today?
I'm thankful for meeting my fitness goals today with minimal trouble. My left hip is still painful, but not as bad as it's been. I've been out walking the complex four times today and have over 10K steps now.
I'm thankful I worked on Vendetta today. That's why I read through it so many times and will again when I hit the button to start the publishing process. By then the timeline will be sorted out.
I'm thankful the office didn't bring a potential renter into my apartment today. It's as neat as I can make it with packed boxes all over my living room.
I'm thankful I found one of my favorite movies on Disney+ today. If you haven't seen Wild Hearts Can't be Broken, I highly recommend it. It's a true story.
I'm thankful I finished the notifications earlier today. No worries here as I enjoy spending time with you and reading your posts.
Okay, that's my day. I need to get back to Vendetta or give it up for today and watch my shows. How's your day? What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. I just looked at this picture more closely before I posted it here. Don't miss that there are two chipmunks in this picture. I always thought there was only one.

I am sure you will get there. I am thankful to have good AC on a hot day like today. A chipmunk ran in front of the car the other day, I didn't see one smashed in the road..so I guess he made it across..yay!

I am thankful that I was able to get paid by two survey sites which are Survey Junkie and Branded Surveys.

@just4him I agree with you since TGIF is not called "Thank God It's Friday" for nothing.

Oh, I LOVE Wild Hearts Can't be Broken! It was the first non animated movie I ever saw in a theater. My sister and I were such fans.
I'm thankful my health insurance started paying for dental cleanings starting this month. Paying out of pocket gets expensive.

I'm glad that you have a publisher. I'm working out little kinks on my latest short story. Pretty photo. I'm grateful that I found the strength to agree to have a realtor out to snoop at my place though that means a ton of work and a ton of letting go. My house will always be bumpy and not perfect but it is what it is.

I self-publish with KDP. Thank you.
I'm glad you're working out the kinks in your short story.
Realtors always find more work for homeowners, but it's worth it in the end. I like bumpy homes. Nothing is perfect.

cute chipmucks. It's been raining lately. I actually thankful for that because I twisted my ankle a few days ago while trying to water the flowers. My ankle is fine now. I'm thankful that I did some more on my diamond painting. I'm not thankful that one of my uncle's cats is sick. I am trying a calming diffuser, but it had a burning smell to it until I moved it to another room. I'm not thankful that the condo my mother and I were wanting to get is probably sold. And not thankful for the mosquito bites. I am thankful though my best friend has scheduled her hip surgery.

Last I checked, complexes can't bring in possible renters, before you're completely moved out because its your apartment until the contract ends. Well good luck with your upcoming move. Glad your step goals were met.

They can here. The one I looked at still had the renter's belongings in it, though the person was gone. The family will be clearing out the apartment.
They only need a 12-hour notice to enter.

Cute chipmunks, noticed them both right off the bat.
Thankful to get the rest of the yard work done at church today. For the meatball sandwich's we decided on for supper and the nap which refreshed me after working outside. Have a blessed evening.
