Yup, got a letter in the mail today saying that my recent mammogram "did not show any signs of breast cancer." (Yes, it was bold type in the letter.) My next one will be in two years.

Very good, I had my last this year, now I am 70, no more mammograms.

I thought I was through with them, too (being 69) but the letter said my next one was in two years, so I don't know.

@BarBaraPrz They said until 70 here, I do not expect to receive a new form in two years.

Glad there were no signs of cancer. Did you felt any problems or pain and that's why you went for mammogram?

No, it was just regular screening.

Congratulations! My eldest daughter made me call my doctor friend at 11 PM last month because she had just received her mammogram and "it said something". Fortunatelly it was nothing. She just has to check on them every year.

Hope it was just a cyst which can be aspirated by a big long scary needle... I've had it done twice.

It's better than terminal cancer.

I am due for one of those but they have not reminded me and are much more "concerned" about my carotid artery and now with my "nodule"in my lungs.

Which they'll "watch" and probably do nothing about it, as has happened with the "nodules" in my thyroid. I'd rather have noodles.
