Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 81 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. It is supposed to get up into the 90s today with thunderstorms but for now it is nice.
I woke up about an hour ago. I tried to go back to sleep but that didn't happen so here I am. I'm up.
My friend and I might hit up our waterfront hangout for lunch and drinks this afternoon. My sandwich wasn't so great the last time we went so I'll probably go for sushi today. They have great sushi there.
My neighbor keeps threatening to come up here and clean out my cabinets. She found a roach in hers a couple of weeks ago and she is afraid that there are some up here. I've never seen one but she is welcome to clean the cabinets. There is plenty of stuff in them that can get thrown out.
So that is the big plan for the day. What is everyone else up to today?

After a quick translation from Celsius to Fahrenheit, I see that the temperature where I am - in central England - is exactly the same! However it is now after 2pm and it is therefore unlikely to get much hotter today, whereas it might easily do so in New Jersey.
It's a bit too warm for my liking, but at least the solar panels on the roof are producing masses of electricity, most of which is being exported to the Grid and doing a tiny bit towards countering global warming!

I'd freak out if I saw a roach. If we cleaned out our cabinets, I know there would be at least one to two boxes of stuff that could be donated. Nothing much going on here. Doing some shopping for necessities for the trip.
