The Call Which We Hate On Weekends

Well there is a slight change in the plans and I cannot deny I'm not happy about it but I have to agree.
So yesterday around 10 pm I got the call from my boss that I need to go work tomorrow means Sunday for about 3-4 hours for something that needs my supervision and of course it'll be a unofficial working day for me so I'll be busy for at least half day.
Is There Any Call that you hate to attend especially on weekends like of boss, Relatives etc?

of course,occasionally I was requested to work overtime on weekend.naturally,i am reluctant about overtime.I am not a workaholic.but if we did a overtime,we can gain compensation leave instead of extra salary.How about you,what can you gain for overtime?

I wouldn't have answered the call honestly.
I do get those calls and I usually won't pick up. Eventually, managers understood that my rest days are important and I really couldn't be bothered.

, she should have secured her old age, now she is almost 70 and experiences sicknesses

@allen0187 , I haven't experienced that. Your decision is good, but I think the pay is double or triple if work on a Sunday. My neighbor so funny she worked from Monday to Sunday until she retired. The problem now is she got no saving and pension so small working for 33 years. She worked in a private company and her SSS pension is only 9,000 and she was a finance officer, whereas her husband received 12,00 higher than her as a company driver, but he requested to pay his SSS double.

Apart from spam calls, I don't really get any phone calls. Granted, I'm thankful the phone has been quiet. Save from the call from my husband.

@RebeccasFarm , maybe he did not know it's his boss calling, unless call thru a cellular phone where we can see visible the caller's identity.

I don't like any call that is problematic in nature.Sorry you have to work today. I am sure you would rather be mylotting in the AC or doing almost anything else..

I have not experienced that, maybe there is something very urgent in your office and that only you can make it. I hope your salary is double because in Ph , once an employee works on a Saturday and Sunday will receive double pay .

@Butterfingers I don't recieve or pick-up calls from unknow numbers other than that I am oky talking to anybody with whom I have contacts.
Earlier when I used to work, overtime work were compensated with cash and redeemable cards which can be used at certain stores or exchange with cash money. Weekend extra work or overtime work were always fun cos we friends always end up partying and having fun drinking at club or bars offcourse after having done with our task with some extra bonuses.
