The Call Which We Hate On Weekends

of course,occasionally I was requested to work overtime on weekend.naturally,i am reluctant about overtime.I am not a workaholic.but if we did a overtime,we can gain compensation leave instead of extra salary.How about you,what can you gain for overtime?

I wouldn't have answered the call honestly. I do get those calls and I usually won't pick up. Eventually, managers understood that my rest days are important and I really couldn't be bothered.

I don't like any call that is problematic in nature.Sorry you have to work today. I am sure you would rather be mylotting in the AC or doing almost anything else..

I would hate a call from the maid saying she cannot come to work on that day (lol)

It is the most irritating thing to attend the duty on Sunday for a working man. Worst is if that comes early on Sunday morning.

Apart from spam calls, I don't really get any phone calls. Granted, I'm thankful the phone has been quiet. Save from the call from my husband.

Yes my weekends are supposed to be mine but in the end if something happen like I need to attend on a weekend due to work related issue, I will still do it even through I will not be happy about it.

I wish you did not answer the phone. No I need more phone calls not less.

@Butterfingers I don't recieve or pick-up calls from unknow numbers other than that I am oky talking to anybody with whom I have contacts. Earlier when I used to work, overtime work were compensated with cash and redeemable cards which can be used at certain stores or exchange with cash money. Weekend extra work or overtime work were always fun cos we friends always end up partying and having fun drinking at club or bars offcourse after having done with our task with some extra bonuses.

Since I am retired it does not matter when I do anything.

Luckily I do not work weekends, so a call like this is not going to come. I generally don't like being on the phone at all. But of course, I am in sales, so...I have to be most of the time.

i don't get many calls, but i do get e-mails or notifications for college - and i hate those.

I have worked those extra hours paid and unpaid. That's common in an organization if the overall productivity has to be maintained. It's good in some cases I guess
