I’m Dumbfounded

Two weeks ago I participated in a clinical trial for colon cancer, not that I have it. I did it because my gastroenterologist suggested me to them. It took about an hour of answering questions, giving 5 vials of blood, and the next day, a stool sample. It was picked up. Well, I received my reward last week, but didn’t bother to open it until this morning. I received $275!!! I’m dumbfounded! I was told it would be much less. Nice way to begin such a beautiful, sunny day!

@LadyDuck We don’t have to pay for insurance thanks to my husband’s health benefits from his career. One less thing to worry about.

Thanks! Funny, but I had one more vial of blood taken the next day for my colonoscopy. I will probably put the money in my special savings account until I can decide what to do with it.

I got an unexpected check earlier this week from a study, that I had completed long ago. I was surprised to see it quite honestly. Ha, and as I was writing this roomie just gave me another check from a study..ha, this will come in handy..with the car needing inspected and all.

Didn't you know that it's a paid clinical trial? It's similar to a survey and you will get paid when it's done. Anyway congratulations. The reward money is good for your savings if you do for future use.
