I need to make some Gatorade

It was a hot day yesterday, and I mowed a little. Then we went to McPherson to do some errands and see my sister. She had food to give me as usual.
The temperatures are high this week. Not 100 F but almost. The grass is very high due to the rain a week ago. We may be starting another rainy period soon.
We have all kinds of bugs. Including SOME cicadas, but nothing like the 17 year swarm. We have some every year.
I get very dehydrated when I mow, so I will make that Gatorade to be ahead of the problem.
While I am in the kitchen I will cook a beef roast my sister gave us. It will be done and ready to be turned into a few quick meals. I will get it done before the heat of the day.
So that is my Saturday.

Your sister sounds like a nice person to share her food with you. Gatorade does sound good on a very hot day.

Lots of different senior programs where she is give her food, even if she does not want it. Right now she is getting "Meals on Wheels" to help her because she cannot cook. She worries that food will go to waste.

I am getting ready to go mow our yard shortly. We are expecting rain tomorrow and Monday. We will see. They have missed it this week as we got none when they said we would get some. I hope you enjoy your roast meals. Have a lovely weekend.

One forecast did predict rain today, Sunday and Monday. I doubt it will happen. I do not mow on Sunday, so I hope I get it all done Monday.

I would have preferred it more medium but it is mostly well done. It will make good sandwiches.
