Neighbor Shared Fresh Tomatoes

A knock at the door yesterday was a welcomed visitor. My dear neighbor had fresh tomatoes to share. The first for the year. So thankful for good neighbors. Excited to see these red tomatoes. Sandwiches will be for dinner now. Nothing like a garden tomato. The taste is so much better than the ones you buy in a store. Had any fresh produce lately? Snapped the photo of my sliced tomato with a little salt and pepper.

They look so fresh and juicy, that was so nice of him to share. We will have some fresh sweet corn to enjoy for supper tonight. Enjoy the fresh tomatoes.

Store bought tomatoes have very little taste. I got some the other day at the Farm Store and they were delicious. I made tomato, bacon and cheese melts but I like tomato sandwiches too. Nice neighbor you have there.

i get the farmers market on Saturday got average tomatoes (hot house actually) and amazing cucumbers!
