Because I'm done! Cut the grass after lunch, then did a whole bunch of weeding and before I knew it, it was 6pm. I was dismayed to see that Creeping Charlie is back. I spent my first summer here fastidiously ripping it out of the grass and it didn't come back the next year, nor last year. But it's baack this year.

I am going to need to look up creeping charlie as I probably have some. Almost everything I have is weeds. Last year I began having garlic mustard, which I am told is edible, but I have never tried it. It is also nearly impossible to kill.

Yes, you can use the leaves of garlic mustard in salads or to make a pesto, and the roots can be made up as horse radish. I don't know if anything can be done with Charlie. His cousin, Creeping Jenny, is pretty hanging down from a tall planter with taller flowers. She's also better behaved and stays in the pot.
