Latest on my pain issues

Just got home from the doctor. He said I have a MAJOR UTI. I thought I did, but he's not sure why I have some other symptoms.
He said my dark red urine sample was massively ugly! He didn't want to wait for oral antibiotics to work, so he gave me a Rocefen shot and I have to get a second one tomorrow. Then start on oral antibiotics.
Have you ever had a Rocefen injection? They are very painful and get even more so a few hours later. But I'd sure rather have even two of them than to hurt like I do.
The doctor said the Rapid Covid test is 85% accurate. That wasn't very reassuring. But even I do have Covid or some other virus, I won't be going anywhere for a while, hopefully I'll recover from all of it about the same time. He did some blood work, too.
Anyway, that's the latest. I sure do appreciate the prayers and concern. Maybe the injections will get my mind off the other pain!

Thank you so much for your prayers. Landon, our almost 12 year old grandson told my husband yesterday that "We need to pray for Caca." That's what the grandkids call me. It just warmed my heart to know he said that! And of course they did.

I had a terrible UTI about a month ago, it's not fun. Also, I had strep years back, in the ER they gave me Rocefen in the hip. It worked fast!

I'm glad the doctor was able to ascertain what your problem was. I've never had a Rocefen shot. I know when I have a UTI and run, not walk, to the doctor for some relief!!! I hope you feel better soon.
