This has been sitting in my late aunt's collection since we were kids. My aunt used to be a very active travel agent and been in the industry for decades that she got a lot of collection from places she traveled and also souvenir items from airline companies. This souvenir is now in our home, we are selling the house of my aunt so we have to move all her things to our home and those included all those collections. My cousin say they are worthless but for me it's keeping all those memories. We just don't throw memories away. This air India souvenir reminds me of our childhood days when we would spend summer with our grandparents.

I would say that the collections per se are already treasures. I know they will command a price if we sell them at antique shops.

@Vikingswest1 We have lots of collection and old furnitures in our home. These were passed on through generation from our ancestors. As Catholic we also have icons and images of saints.

@mayka123 exactly. When my cousin thought of giving my aunt's belongings to charity, I told them I will just ferry all those things. Actually spent 2000 Dollars for the wing van (truck)

She's in her 60's or.late 60's. Am younger. It's just odd that they were supposed to be closer to my aunt because they live in Luzon while my brother and I live in Mindanao. Maybe they don't care about sentimental values.

I have a salt shaker shaped like a hippopotamus. As a child, it was always on a shelf in our home. I still have that salt shaker, it must be very old! Is it worth something? Only to me:)
