July 28 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today is a wonderful day. I have a lot to be thankful for.
I'm thankful for my great-granddaughters. Today is Naomii's birthday. She's 7. A couple of days ago was her sister's birthday. Gizelle turned 8. Soon they will welcome their brother to the family.
I'm thankful for the workout I got at the Y this morning. I had a good workout in the pool and fitness center. I also just passed 15K steps with two more rounds of the complex, hopefully before the storm hits. It's getting ready.
I'm thankful for the work I accomplished on Vendetta. It's coming along well. I'm finding little things that need clarification. I should be finished with this read-through by Friday and then I can start the publishing process. One more read-through before I hit the publish button.
I'm thankful I now have all my August bills paid. I only need to pay my rent for September when I get paid. My last for this complex. I'm very happy I've kept my spending to only what I need to this month and nothing extra. I will need the extra in September for the move.
I'm thankful I finished the notifications early so I could work on Vendetta. It's good to spend time with all of you and see what you're up to in your world.
Okay, that's my day. I'm going to finish off the few notifications I have, eat dinner and watch TV. Hopefully, another round of gymnastics. I also want to see the equestrian trials, swimming, diving, and men's gymnastics, and yes, beach volleyball.

That's a lot to be thankful for.
I'm thankful that the only rain I got, was light, and while it made me a little damp, it wasn't to bad.

I'm sorry you had another hot day. Thank you. I'm sure they both had fun on their birthdays. My granddaughter wanted to be different. It's Naomii with 2 i's. I wish I could visit or they could. Though with my granddaughter close to her due date, that's not possible.

I have a question, why are you required to pay rent for Sept, at your old apartment? I thought you were moving into your new apartment, the first week of Sept. You have probably already explained this, I just don't remember.

Housing is paying the full month. I also put in my notice for the 30th of September to give me time to clean once I move. I'll pay the September rent when I get paid in August, so I only need to worry about the new apartment in September.

@kobesbuddy I'm not holding my breath. I'm cleaning, and I'm getting help to clean. The last time I did that, the person found all kinds of reasons not to give me the deposit back.
