July 29 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Today had a rough start, but it was still a good day.
I'm thankful for the time in the pool. I got a good workout before the problem with my suit. I threw it out after my shower there. I have another one, an old one, but it looks in better shape than that one. Hopefully, it lasts until I move.
I'm thankful for spending time with you today. I finished the notifications and learned about your day.
I'm thankful I can still watch my shows and the Olympics on the computer. I thought I could use the laptop with my Roku streaming stick. That wasn't possible, so I brought up each site separately. I'll get a new TV after I move and can get the money saved for it again.
I'm thankful I have all my fitness goals done for the day. I have almost 19K steps.
That's been my day. Tomorrow I'll be going to my son's for laundry after the Y. I did get some packing done today in the kitchen and bathroom.
Today, I got a royalty payment. When I saw the e-mail for it a few days ago and brought up the site, I noticed I received a royalty payment every month except February. It's not much, but it's nice to know my books are selling. I'll have Vendetta ready soon.

@LadyDuck Usually, I use a suit until I can't use it anymore. I try to buy the new one before the old one can't be worn. I waited too long with my suit. I'm glad the old one wasn't past use yet. It was strange it fell apart the way it did. I haven't had that happen before.
The site I buy from always has sales. Some are better than others.

I'm glad I didn't throw away the other one when I got the new one. It's still in good shape, just badly faded.

I can find the suits, it's finding them at sale prices that's hard. Right now, there are decent sales, but I need to wait.

I'm glad you have another bathing suit you can use. I hear people talking about Roku, but don't understand what it is. It's probably another streaming device, I know nothing about.

Yes, it is streaming, but with a great benefit. You buy it in the electronic department of your local Wal-Mart or another similar store. You need an Internet-accessible TV with an HDMI port. Plug it into your port and download to your TV. No monthly fees. There are so many free channels to choose from. There are also fee channels, so you need to pay attention to what channels you're adding. You can sync your other streaming channels such as Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ so you can access everything in one place. I love it. It's the best investment I made.

@just4him I don't like jumping back and forth, from one service to another one, to find programming or a movie. Roku sounds very convenient!
