Corona Virus Joins the Tokyo Olympics??

This virus is so hard to defeat it roams around corner to corner in the world playing havoc to mankind. Just imagine how Japan disinfects the place and how the athletes follow protocols, yet the virus is able to participate killing the potential dreams of the athletes. Just recently, two Olympiads from United States were removed from the Olympics, they're tested positive of the virus and they are about to play for the final fight to bring home the Gold Medal.
. The more these athletes feel hurt.
Because of this , the coaches in Philippines personally provide the Filipino players with alcohol and other disinfectant and carry them back and forth thru a separate van to avoid getting infected.
Bad news, 10 Nigerian athletes were removed from the Tokyo Olympics for their government and coaches did not follow protocols to drug test their athletes. And it is not the fault of the athletes. 
. I pity them , but they need to follow the Rule.

@Butterfingers, It seems no end, the covid rate in USA is so rapid, it seems back to the original. It seems vaccine lacks credibility. Just imagine 82 policemen in Manila who were with SONA of the President got infected with covid when they had completed their vaccination. 
. The swab results indicated these policemen were covid positive and they were far from the crowd who were on strike.

Yes. It is really not easy to fight this virus. We really have to be very careful and yet there are those people who don`t believe.

That is heartbreaking for those players who worked so hard. Oh my god. But I believe they have been forewarned about the possibility of it happening so I hope they have somewhat braced themselves for the possibility.

@yoalldudes, the virus is unpredictable. It's so contagious. Like the Delta variant in Ph from 12 now it reaches to 218 , and first to have reached 8 000 plus infected. We have continuous ECQ in CDO and there might be a total lockdown. Let's be ready with foods supply etc.

@yoalldudes , ours here including Misamis Oriental and Cagayan de Oro continues on ECQ especially this day people in a subdivision are so terrified for there are two delta patients. For the new ECQ towns of Misamis Oriental, it starts tomorrow August 1 up to August 24, too long, but the government assures financial assistance. The entire world is suffering this time for more almost 3 years now.

Olympics at this point of time is the bad decision... many were against it..but still..it happened...so have to bear the consequences...

@prashu228, so true and many now get infected with the virus. It is scary indeed.
. By the way, I notice that covid case in USA seems getting higher again. Why is that so?
