One Red Rose This Morning

Went out earlier to refresh the bird bath. Checked the roses to make sure no beetle bugs were back. Snapped this photo of one tiny red rose just starting to bloom in Dustin's garden. So pretty with all of the other pink roses. I have heard of this happening due to the weather and sometimes with the age of the rose bush. Either way, I enjoyed seeing this bright red rose.

It reminds me of my mothers rose bush. I still have my mothers rose bush she planted around 20 years ago.

Thank you! This was my first rose bush to grow and it has been eayy peasy. Funny to see one red rose, with all of the pink ones.

@CarolDM you also let all of us know you weren't in texas (cause in Texas there is a yellow rose). ours were a breeze, I just have never taken the time to add them to this house!

That is a lovely rose, I miss those roses of mine back in Latvia. Here is a red one covered with raindrops that was one of my favorites,
