July 31 - What I'm Thankful for Today

I just looked outside. I won't be walking the complex this next hour. It's pouring out there. It was expected, but I don't think they expected it like this. It came up fast as I walked not too long ago. There's also hail, thunder, and lightning. I'm thankful I'm not out in it. You can see it in the photo above.
I'm thankful for today. It was laid back. I achieved my steps, and have two more hourly step goals. I'll do them inside.
I'm thankful I went to the store earlier. I wanted storage bins for my closet, versus overflowing boxes. They'll stack better too. I also went to the other store for food. I intended to get bananas but found when I got home, I forgot all about them. Oh well, there's always next time. I didn't forget dessert though. I had my brownie and I got ice cream for those stifling hot days. It's dairy-free and sugar-free.
Okay, that's my day. I didn't do much of anything besides being here and watching a little bit of TV online. Now, it's time to work on Vendetta. I worked on it yesterday and found a chapter that needed subdividing. I only need to remember to change the chapter numbers going forward. I have 8 chapters left before I start the publishing process.
How was your day? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me.

It's been good. It didn't last long. The sun is shining and I took my walk around the complex. Lots of downed twigs, and standing water with the force of the storm. One of the handicapped signs is completely tipped in half from the ground. It's one of those metal ones. The one for my space was tipped over. It was plastic. Just a matter of standing it back up again.

I had a good day. My husband got an extra hour of work today I think. so that's something to be thankful for. Plus I got my butt out of bed early, and got a lot of housework done, too.

It came up fast and was done and gone just as fast. I walked that hour after all, but not the last hour, though I did get my steps inside.

I'd hate a day like that...tell god behave yourself, stop being so childish crying at silly silly things. But god has too much wax in his ears many a times...sigh. However, right after this...when there is greenery all around and sunshine without being harsh...it seems god is feeling sorry for his bad behavior, and is trying to make up with peace gift.

We got that same thunder and rain storm two days ago, it only lasted about two hours. Today, it's 69 degrees again, I love it! Sorry about the bananas, maybe your son can pick some up at the store. Our week has started off nice, our home is very peaceful and loving:) I'm thankful I finished the last book I was reading, it was awful!

@just4him Some books are awful, I won't give them to St Vincent's where others might read it
