Tell Us About Your Very First Pet!

I was just thinking about mine this morning. It was a little dog which I apparently named him. For some reason as a three year old, I decided on Chippy... I would love to know why I decided on particular name. I think that he was part cocker spaniel... the rest I have no idea but I loved him to bits and apparently he followed me around endlessly. More pets would come along, but Chippy still has a soft spot in my heart. Now your turn... tell us about your favorite pet. Would love to hear.

I lived in an apartment and never had pets, but my grandmother had a Mallard ducks and I decided that a young duckling, smaller than the others was my pet. That was my only pet.

I had two rabbits named chocolate and vanilla sadly chocolate passed away a few days back

@Porcospino My husband's great aunt (I think) had two huge rabbits that hopped around the apartment on one of out visits lol... Apparently they loved to nibble wall paper! I think that you need some hugs too!

My first pet was a dog, and I was 3 years old when we bought him. I wanted to name him Sailor because that was the name of one of my favorite toys, but parents didn't let me choose the name.

My first pet was a white rabbit. Then in my adulthood I discovered the wonderful dog; and I never looked back!

I remember my brother and I each had a pet hamster. Years ago. We would take them out of their cage and they would hide in the sofa. We were always looking for them. Good times.

Hamster's were my kids first pets too. The name Roland stuck for every one of them lol! Roland 1, Roland 2 and so on ;)
