Hubby Made Blueberry Waffles for Dinner Last Night

I had picked up some fresh blueberries last week when we were in Biloxi. My plan was to use them for smoothies and we did make some smoothies but I still had some left over. I suggested blueberry pancakes because my hubby prefers pancakes over waffles and I prefer waffles over panckes. He was nice and deferred to making blueberry waffles.
They were so good! Even after making waffles last night, we had blueberries still. I guess tomorrow we will be having smoothies again. I will have to make my own as he added Sweet and Low in the batch he made and they were entirely too sweet for me.
I am glad he is stepping up and helping out a bit here. I have a lot going on right now.

Those blueberry waffles look amazing! We have several blueberry farms around where I live, and I go picking them every summer when they are ripe. I always get a huge bucket full, and end up having to freeze them because I have so many leftover. I also use them to make smoothies, as well as waffles, pancakes, and muffins. I haven't tried my lucky at blueberry pie yet, maybe I should try that next!

Oh yeah, a pie is due!! Or a blueberry cobbler!! Yum!
We have someone on the back country road that puts a sign up, "Free Blueberries" when she has picked all she wants. It's nice that she shares. Of course whenever I see the sign I have something going on. One day!!

@moffittjc You lucked up!! I rode by the house that puts the sign up here every year and it is down now so she got her bushes picked already.

@kareng I just noticed the other day driving to work a new "pick your own blueberries" sign was posted on a backroad very near to my house. I'm going to check it out soon before the blueberry season is over. I wonder if it's a little blueberry farm, or just someone's yard that has blueberry bushes. It seems more and more little farms around here are starting to grow blueberries.

Oh sorry!! They were absolutely delicous!
I have to disagree on that one as the hubby is not that great in the kitchen. I'll have to post on his dinner last night. I got home late since I was at Girl Boss adding inventory so he had to fix dinner.

@kareng funny, in our house my wife is the one who does not often cook. She made chicken and peaches Sunday last week.

I love ANYTHING with blueberries. Do you ever freeze them? They taste like tiny yummy candy.

Yummy! Now I have an idea what to have for breakfast tomorrow.
