So after weeks of keen interest in Olympics 2020 at Tokyo, Cricket is now back in some focus.
This second match at Lords in London has been impacted by rains.
In the 1st innings, India scored 364 runs. K.L.Rahul top scred with 129 runs. Rohit Sharma scored 83. James Anderson took 5 for 62.
It is amazing that James Anderson bowls so much and is among wickets even after 15 + years of cricket.
England were at 230 for 4 with Joe Root nearing a century. Johnny Bairstow just got out for 57 - wicket taken by Mohammad Siraj.

Rain did impact the second natch, but India won it by 151 runs!!

And the way India is down to 56 for 3 in the second innings with just 20 odd runs lead, I am not interested in watching it more today.
Cheteshwar Pujara was someone whom I admired but he is so ultra defensive. He took close to 30 balls before opening his account and has scored badly in both the innings.
I think his selection should not be guaranteed. May be we should try someone else in the next test match.

Ultra defensiveness is not going to help especially against aggressive bowlers who can swing and seam.
