Adopt a Cat You'll Enjoy It

The title came from the famous line I kept saying to myself. I had no time to adopt before my friends cat Silky gifted me with five kittens. Now it is have kittens will travel. I introduced them to the cat tree and toys in the front room but at a little over a month old they are confused as to whether this ia a good thing or not.
So at night, they sleep in the workroom and in the morning everyone including Mama get oatmeal mixed in with some ground meat or tuna and everyone shares a big plateful. I will be ordering kitten food soon. Then Silky lays down in the passageway from the front room to the kitchen and then to the workroom, the kittens travel all over. Witj every sqieal I have to check that all is OK. It is amusing but I am not laughing right now.
Last night the last headcount was four and Silky just calmly went out into the night to have some time off from the kittens. She usually goes down to visit with my friends. Anyway, I went to bed figuring the missing one would show up. It did, at 3 AM I heard a noise and a squeak and it crawled out from under the couch, Being sleepy I almost stepped on it but managed to get it into the workroom to find the others.
Are we having fun yet? Me, myself, and I are debating,

@1creejkgirl I am glad I can get some work done when all the cats are sleeping, It will all get sorted out in September just giving them more time to grow and have fun with each other

Taking care of kittens can be a bit stressful, but enjoyable at the same time. I miss rasing kittens, honestly.

Yes you are having fun. I walk to the carport every morning with 6 running around me. So far I havent stepped or fell on any.

Yes it's worth doing to adopt a cat. I got Puti, an abandoned kitten inside the sugarcane plantation. My 2nd elder rescued him and we adopted him.
Puti is now 21 days old since we had him last July 25, 2021.

@jstory07 the Mama Silky is a lovely cat but she stays around the kittens just until she needs her own space and then she goes down to see what my friends are up too and I get to watch over them,

@LadyDuck he is always by my feet and meowing or squeaking, He has such a cute little face but he does eat well so I hope he will grow to a nice size,

The grey one is the biggest @LadyDuck and one of the black ones is the smallest actually what I would call the runt of the litter.

OMG! They are very adorable. I'm gonna kiss these kittens for sure. I loved to have a cat kingdom in my homestead but unfortunately my cat keep disappearing.
