Fruit of my Labor

I'm now enjoying the fruit of my labor. My lemon grass plant is at the moment so lush that I can now start to harvest and make wholesome and healthy lemon grass tea for myself.
And aside from that there is so much satisfaction in being able to at last harvest what you sow in the ground after so many months of caring and waiting.
According to the Medical News Today "Drinking lemon grass tea can have diuretic effects..." What other health benefits you know of from lemon grass?

@cacay1 My lemon grass that's growing on the ground is really very lush and quite hard to get a stalk from.

I love lemon grass! I only "discovered" it maybe about 3 years ago. I have heard that it is healthy, but honestly I just love the taste of it (we make a Thai lemongrass chicken - oh so good). During the pandemic, we had fun growing some too.

It's nice to know that you are growing your own lemon grass plants.Freshly picked from the garden is the best there is!

@sjvg1976 Yes I need to take it daily, That's why i needed to wait for my lemon grass plant to grow lush so that I can harvest from it everyday otherwise it will dry up and die.
