Good day to you all.
Well, the week is half over, well the work week is a little more than half over. Three down two to go and that will be all for me.
So, I heard this morning and some of those Afghan’s came here to Fort McCoy, WI. That is about 6 hours north from my house. For me that is too close to home. I also heard that a lot of the residents of the area are not too happy about that, and I can’t say I blame them. Have they been checked for security or health risks? Is there anything set up to make sure they are safe in anyway? From the pictures I seen they were all bunched up on a plane with no masks or anything.
Oddly enough I was just reading about Biden’s approval rating that seems to have dropped 10 percent since June. Are people starting to wake up and see how they made a mistake? Are they starting to see how bad this administration is for our country? Are they seeing that we can’t just give everything away for free, that someone at sometime is going to pay for it?
I really hope that America wakes up to this sooner than later, before it is to late.

Our country is not as rich as yours yet we accept immigrants, we vaccinate anyone that wants it here, no matter what its nation and we give what we can to people with more problems than us. They are all PEOPLE.

@Bensen32 We check them in some ways. Not all I would do though, but then it cannot be done. So we let many people in, basically from Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia and Haiti now. At other times we have had refugees or poor people from other parts of the world. What to you mean by "run free"?

@marguicha Well we let all kinds from all over the world but usually they need to be tested and all. Run Free like without testing them, letting them into our society to do as they please.

@Bensen32 Health concerns? Like about what? We have unmasked and unvaccinated American citizens all over the place. You think that Afghan refugees somehow have a higher rate of COVID? I haven't heard of that being a hot spot like say Florida.

@NJChicaa He's not talking about just COVID. When you apply for a visa to go out of the country, there's a list of vaccines and things you're required to have. Other counteries have far worse things than COVID that people rushing to get out of the country could bring with him. Benson's concern is valid. Are people so scared of contracting COVID, that they would neglect to do nessary physicals and quarenteen screenings just to get the refuguees out of their hair, faster?
As for knocking Florida, do your research. Florida's been well known for false-reporting of cases and numbers, going as far to faulsify positive COVID tests on people who'eve NEVER been tested. Not to mention, there are people who will be so paranoid to get tested DAILY, which causes numbers to climb. Because each COVID TEST, is considered a case. Not every POSITIVE test.

I don't blame you on either front. One day the gravey train will run out, and people will have to get jobs. Prices are already climbing. I'm thankful to hear Diden's approval rating is dropping. This is what happens when you want a man out of office so bad. The other person, isn't always better.

@Bensen32 That's what happens when you don't teach people anything. We have a generation of people, who are being spoon fed, coddled and everything in-between. Yes, I am sensitive to those who have special needs. I'm disabled and would like to be respected, but I also grew up in an era where you were tought to ask questions and do research. If my feelings got hurt, most of the time, I was told to get over it. We live in a different world, and this generation of snowflakes is is what's tearing this country apart.

@kaylachan Yep, I was raised the same way, you want to know something research it, don't believe what people say go find the answers yourself and if your feelings get hurt to bad so sad suck it up and move on. Life isn't always going to go your way.
To many of our moron leaders are playing along with these idiots.

If anyone realized the mistakes and failures you probably will not hear about it. As for the Afghans, sort of like the open southern border we have, come one come all seems to be the case. Sure, if they were all vetted and secured, they should be welcome, but I have not seen that happening anywhere.

exactly, you want to come in the legal way sure I got no issue with that. you come in and become a productive member of society, sure glad to have you. you want to come here illegally and expect free hand outs then F U go back where you came from no matter where that might be from.
