It's been a little while....

Hey. I hope everyone is doing well. I haven't been on much. I still check MyLot every day but I'm just going through another round of what depression has to offer. You know, not being in the mood for socialising, sleeping a lot and I mean A LOT. Everything is quite ok over here but even if everything was perfect, depression doesn't care about that. Sometimes it just gets a little out of hand so I apologise for some very late responses (some people don't like me saying sorry but it's who I am, I feel bad if people think I'm ignoring them). I haven't abandoned MyLot or being rude / uncaring towards anyone for not getting back to them or checking in on them. It's just depression. It's the best I can explain it right now. I haven't been doing much. I've mainly been watching Netflix or sleeping. Trying to get in the mood to get back into exercising and decluttering house but not right now. For now I'm a lazy tired slug. I did go out last Friday night for a little bit though. I went to my one of my best friend's baby shower. She is about 8 months pregnant with a boy. I'm thrilled for her. My Poppy went to hospital the other day for a little bit as he passed out again but he is back home now. Unfortunately back to eating very little. Other than that, not much else to report. I do have some Discussions to post but will get to that soon. Look forward to being here for a little while, catching up with notifications and I'd love to know what you've all been up to.

I'm sorry depression affects you. I've wondered where you've been. Good to see you again. I just published Vendetta yesterday and I'm getting ready for my move in 17 days. Other than that, not much is happening.

@VivaLaDani13 You're welcome. Thank you. I'm looking forward to this move. I have most of the packing finished. Only my office left and I started on that this morning.

@just4him That's great! May I please ask, why you're moving? I know you've been talking about it but I am so far behind with catching up here that I am unsure about the move. If it's a personal reason then no worries but otherwise I'd love to know. Either way, I hope it all goes well with no issues along the way.

Glad to see you back again. I was in the thick of some discussions- some kind of funny, others just normal. Some days were less active. Today I am trying to make up for some lost hours or days. Have a great weekend !

@DocAndersen You're right about that! As much as I yearn for certain directions in life, I know it's not exactly possible.

As a human you should learn to avoid depression by avoiding thinking negatively about yourself. Just let it go as most of the times we don't have solutions for the over thought matters

I am so sorry you are feeling badly. What do you think is at the root of it?

@VivaLaDani13 It may just be a general malaise consisting of a lot of different components.

@snowy22315 It very well could be. It's very unknown right now. It will pass soon.
• Perth, Australia

@snowy22315 Thank you for that. I wish I could say. I mean I have some worries, concerns etc but couldn't tell you if those were the root of it. Sometimes it just happens for unknown reasons. Or at least reasons I cannot think of.

Then today is a small victory for you. I congratulate you on your stepping out of your comfort zone to interact with others. I hope more good days will follow. I haven't seen you here because I'm so new but I hope to see more of you now. Good for you Danielle. One day at a time.

I certainly understand how your depression keeps you from wanting to socialize. I don't suffer from depression myself but I do have family members who do. I'm glad your Poppy is okay after his trip to the hospital. I certainly hope he doesn't pass out again. Exciting news hearing that your friend is expecting a baby boy

@Marilynda1225 I have to say, even though you don't suffer from it, and thank goodness you don't, I am grateful for you being so kind and understanding about it. With all due respect to some people but some people who have never suffered can become quite close minded and cold towards those who suffer with a mental illness. Just thank you Marilyn for being understand to those who suffer. Thank you kindly. And yes I'm SO SO happy and excited!

Oooo a boy!! Sweet!! We don't getto know the gender here before the delivery. You only when the baby is born. It's illegal and a punishable ooffence here (for a good reason). I see now that you haven't been posting for a while now since you mentioned going through what you are. As I always say, take your time. You will back to posting soonish (hopefully).

@Daljinder Yeah he is a cute little squishy thing. I haven't seen him in person yet. Just seen photos. I have heard about that law before. Possibly from you but I feel from memory it wasn't you but either way, good to be reminded. I have just forgotten the specific reason why it's illegal. I almost feel like it was something about the couple not knowing so no disappointments therefore no....you know. Getting rid of.... Is that the reason?

@VivaLaDani13 Oh Is he born already? It is illegal because people want boy child not girl and they abort the girl child.

@VivaLaDani13 Yes. Anxiety is so hard to accept. It's severe. Depression is mild for me, but those panic attacks are horrible.

Hey. I do not blame you or anyone in mylot dear. Cause I know all of have a life outside our lot. And so don't worry. But you may sometimes try for a morning walk. That may change your depressed mood.

Thinking too much sometimes it's not good for humans. Thinking brings to people implications like high blood pressure, and other stress- related diseases

@Treborika You are right, it does cause stress but this is normal human behaviour to stress over life.

@Treborika That is very true! Sometimes things can just go wrong in life and cause stress. But it's worth trying hard to make things better to become less stressed.

@VivaLaDani13 My friend there must be a limit to the volume of stress a human being must have. Too much of something is always poisonous
